Frequently Asked Questions

What is your typical lead time?
There are many factors involved but we aim for a lead time of 2-3 weeks from the receipt of order. The completion of an order depends on many factors such as our machine capacity at the time, material delivery and type and the part complexity itself. However, we may be able to complete an order sooner so urgent requests can be met so please contact us for a more accurate estimation.

Do you deliver?
Yes we can. We are ideally located next to major road networks and our mid-size van covers a large area ensuring we make our commitment to on time delivery or enable us to react quickly to your demands. We also use courier services for next day delivery if needed or for large quantities that are too large for us to deliver by ourselves.

Can we visit you on site?
Yes you can. We would encourage prospective and current customers to arrange a visit where we can showcase our capabilities and see what we can do for you.

What materials can you machine?
We machine a variety of ferrous and non ferrous materials and plastics. With some materials suffering a reduction in available shapes and sizes, we are in daily contact with locally sourced material suppliers. Their wealth of expertise in this industry gives us the flexibility and confidence to be in a position to offer you the material that you require, or at very least, support you in sourcing a suitable alternative.
Common materials that we machine are, but not exhaustive to, include:

Do you offer component finishes?
We don't have the facility to do it ourselves but we have close working relationships with trusted local suppliers who can add finishes from Zinc Plate to Chrome, Precious metal coatings and Anodising.
Should you require a specific barrelling operation or Shot/Bead blast, or grinding we can add this operation to the process and supply the components ready for use.

Can you assemble parts?
Sometimes we are asked to assemble complete units, having already made the component parts. We have a range of ancillary devices that can assist us with assembly work to deliver the finished product direct to you.
